greater Twin Cities region.

our top picks for a diverse and fun-filled weekend for Eden Prairie residents.
Friday, July 22 – Witness
WNBA Champions, the Minnesota Lynx, in Action
Having won 3 championship titles in the past 5 seasons, the Women’s National Basketball Association’s
Minnesota Lynx are a veritable dynasty. While other Minnesota teams have
come up short in recent years, Los Lynx (as they are affectionately nicknamed)
have won energetic support from Twin Cities sports enthusiasts who are hungry
for a win. Thus far, the Lynx have been off to a strong start this season, and
on Friday, July 22nd, the Lynx take on the Seattle Storm, 7PM at
Target Center. Be there to lend your hometown support to one of the WNBA’s most
promising and exciting teams. For more information about the Minnesota Lynx’s
season schedule, or to purchase tickets for Friday, the 22nd’s game, click here.
Saturday, July 23 – An
Art Filled Saturday in Minneapolis
Why not spend a Saturday wandering galleries and museum
halls to see all the artistic wonders—both modern and bygone—that the Twin
Cities has to offer? Begin at the American Swedish Institute to witness famed
Swedish chef Magnus Nilsson (as featured on Netflix’s Chef’s Table) share his photography. The enchanting work on display
charts Nilsson’s in depth research as he conceived the critically lauded, The Nordic Cookbook. More information on
the exhibition can be found here.
Up next, visit Track 29 Gallery for a free exhibition
featuring the works of two artists and longtime friends, Jennifer Davis and Amy
Rice, re-uniting for a dual show. Combined, these two accomplished artists
explore the natural world, in methods that range from the abstract and "carnival-esque”
to the whimsical and tender. Both artists count themselves as animal lovers,
and come from personal and professional backgrounds that lend a unique and
insightful perspective to their work. For more information on the exhibition,
entitled "Delightful 10,” click here.
