• Art of Darkness: Inspired by the Paranormal at Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts
For a moodier, out of the ordinary artistic take, visit the Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts in Fridley to witness Art of Darkness: Inspired by the Paranormal. • Never Odd or Even at Light Grey Art Lab
If you can’t quite pick an art show that speaks to you, why not try Never Odd or Even, which pairs unalike or uncommon pairs for an exhibition that includes mirror images, optical illusions, and the work of 60 different designers and illustrators. • In & Out: 30 Years at Quatrefoil Library
This exhibition is distilled from a massive collection that totals 10,000 books, 1,000 DVDs, and a myriad of recordings and media centered on LGBT art and publications. Celebrating their 30-year anniversary, the Quatrefoil Library’s has chosen some of the most intriguing artifacts of its collection, on view at the Hennepin History Museum until August 28th.
