Home Prices Rise in the Twin Cities
The latest Case-Shiller Home Price Indices report is in and it is good news for the Twin Cities housing market. Home prices across the nation are continuing to rise. Case-Shiller monitors home prices in the 20 biggest metros across the country.In the month of October home prices were 4.5% higher nationwide than the previous year, but remained flat when compared month-to-month. Home prices in the Twin Cities rose 2.3% in October when measured year-over-year.
Many experts monitor the Case-Shiller report closely at is uses data from repeat sales of the same property for its Home Price Indices. Many other reports only track sales within a particular month.
