Another Christmas has come and gone, Minneapolis, but it’s not quite time yet to break out the champagne flutes and toast the New Year. If you’re anything like me, you want to keep the good times rolling between December 25 and the 31. A Stocking Full of Awesome VIII: The Knife Before Christmas at the Lab Theatre
Looking to laugh and keep the seasonal spirit this Friday? Come on down to the Lab Theatre for a night of holidays, comedy, and…knives? Put on by the Danger Committee, this production runs until January 5. Back for the eighth consecutive tier, sharp blades combine with sharp wit to create a truly unique holiday experience. Come out and see what happens when two champion jugglers tag-team it with one of the world’s premier knife throwers with a Yuletide twist. Brendan Eyre at the Joke Joint at Camp Bar

Comedian Brendan Eyre is coming to the Twin Cities for one weekend only. Known from his Comedy Central Stand-Up and appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Eyre is known for his sharp wit, pop culture references, and often irreverent humor. Tickets purchased at the door come with an extra $5 pinned to the price, so make sure to get them early! Minnesotan Native is back for her ninth annual rendition of her Year in Review show at the Cedar Cultural Center. If this year has left you dreading the news, stressed out, or just plain exhausted, then Winstead’s hilarious take on current events is the show for you! And that’s not even mentioning the included remake of Freaky Friday starring Taylor Swift and Kanye West. This show will be political,little surprise as Winstead built her career as a co-creater and head writer on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show.
