teamLab: Graffiti NatureóStill Mountains and Movable Lakes at Walker Art Center
On view until September 10th, this exhibition is free with admission to the illustrious Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. In conjunction with the reopening of the of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, check out this show by the Tokyo-based teamLab. This immersive viewing experience features a digitally created environment of luminous flora and fauna, and you can participate, too! Scan your drawing and the "ultra-technologistsĒ of teamLab will make your vision a reality as part of this fleeting mini-world inside the Walker Art Center. Artist-Designed Mini Golf
Who doesnít love a good round of mini golf, especially under what remains of the summer sun? Available from 10am to 8pm, you can explore the Walker Art Centerís artist-designed mini golf display that plays upon both your athletic and visual sensibilities. Whatís more, this mini golf course is situated in the Walker Art Centerís lush gardens and runs a full eighteen holes, including specialty themes like St. Paul versus Minneapolis. Other holes take inspiration from the cityís landmarks, culture, and inside jokes and run $19 per person, $16 students, $15 for WAC members and children 6-12.
